AmiHear is not approved as a medical device or software and cannot be used as a hearing aid with doctor’s prescription. Hearing/audio tests provided in the application can/is only used inside of the app for app adjustment for personalized hearing. Testing results cannot be a replacement for audiology tests or a basis for diagnosis

Bluetooth is supported but the audio latency heavily depends on the type of device the user has. Most Google phones and new high-end phones are very capable but previous generation Android devices are usually not as much.
